Yes. Knotty Celebrations is exclusively for two guests. There are no other passengers on board. If you hire a captain or crew, they remain discreet and respect your complete privacy. If desired, certain stops can include shore experiences, though most couples choose to remain on board and enjoy the privacy of the yacht.

No. This is a fully private yacht experience created exclusively for two people. There are no shared spaces, no other guests, and no fixed schedule—everything is tailored to you.

For crewed charters, we provide a list of qualified licensed captains you can hire (we will make all of the arrangements) for safe navigation. We can also provide a crew member who can prepare breakfast and, upon request, serve as a private chef for elevated dinners. All crew services are tailored to your preferences and planned in advance.

The base charter includes the private use of the 52’ yacht, e-bikes, paddle boards, a two-person sea kayak, standard beverages, and basic breakfast items. Captain, crew, private chef, and curated experiences (spa services, photography, special dinners, etc.) are added à la carte based on your wishes—similar to customizing a luxury resort stay. Every experience is built around simplicity—you only pay for what you choose to include.

Absolutely. Every escape is fully personalized. You will work directly with our travel planner to design your perfect once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Your safety and comfort always come first. The captain makes all routing decisions based on conditions. The protected waters of the San Juan Islands and British Columbia offer multiple options, so we can usually adjust plans smoothly while keeping your experience enjoyable.

All captains hold a USCG six-pack license (or higher) and possess deep local knowledge of these waters. The yacht is equipped with full U.S. Coast Guard safety gear, including life rafts, flotation devices, fire suppression, detectors, and advanced communications.

A deposit secures your dates. Flexible payment options are available and can be tailored to your needs, including special arrangements for honeymoons.

Deposits are non-refundable. Additional payments may be refundable depending on timing. Full details are provided during booking, and we strongly recommend travel insurance for peace of mind.

Breakfast and standard beverages (soft drinks and stocked liquor) are included. Premium liquors are available at an additional charge. All meals and dietary requests are happily accommodated when crew or chef services are selected.

You will enjoy a private V-berth suite with an private bathroom featuring a large shower—designed entirely for two.

Pack lightly for the expected weather. No special gear is required for standard activities. Bring a valid passport if your itinerary includes cross-border travel into Canada.

You will arrive by seaplane or ferry from Seattle, Vancouver, Victoria, or Bellingham. The exact pickup location in the San Juan Islands will be confirmed at booking. Travel costs are generally similar regardless of departure point.

The yacht is equipped with satellite internet for reliable connectivity during most of your journey. Cell service is available in many areas.

Yes. Photography, champagne, spa services, romantic dinners, and other custom touches are all available through our concierge service. We handle every detail so you can simply enjoy.

You can book year-round, but we recommend reserving 6 to 18 months in advance due to extremely limited availability. Early booking secures your preferred dates and pricing.

This experience is best suited for guests with good mobility. Boarding, moving around the yacht, and navigating occasional steps can be challenging due to the vessel’s design and natural motion.

Gratuity is optional and appreciated. A typical range is 10–20% of the crew cost, depending on the level of service provided.

The minimum age is 21. There is no maximum age. Guests are expected to enjoy themselves responsibly. Transporting any illegal substances across the U.S.–Canada border is strictly prohibited and will end the charter immediately with no refund.

Yes, if the schedule permits and no immediate follow-on booking exists, we can often adjust the length of your charter.
